The flood continues get out your buckets... its the river of Music
I am not talking 60's I am talking 2006. It never stopped just took some turns, curves, its very alive.

Ever since Valentine's Day and Darren of Homey ... make that
Honey Dust gave me a good talking to as you remember, regarding all my skeletons I have been digging deep in my closet stumbling through piles and shelves (I exaggerate) of video tapes and audio trying to bring a bunch of these bad boys out into the light.

Here's one from a couple of years ago at the Famous Fairfax Festival... that's California not back in Virginia. A local favorite out here The Mother Truckers are now based out of Austin Texas and things are moving really well for Josh and Teal and the band I guess Pete Franco their bass man moved out there I am not sure how they are managing without Dana on drums but they must have that covered. They are going to be playing this 4th of July among the opening bands at Willie Nelson's annual big Barbecue event.
Teal, Josh, Dana, Dave, Pete and judging by the tip jar this photo was taken at the 4th Street Tavern not by me courtesy of The MotherTruckers and a fine photographer.

Last year they opened up for the late Buck Owens here in California... before he was late that is I mean real late.

This is a tune that has been online here and this is not their favorite tune for me to be putting up here but it has a Virgil moment that I always wanted to share.. It will not stay online for long so check it out!

  Remember Virgil??

Here's the Mother Truckers with Virgil in 2004.
Here's Chrome Johnson getting acquainted with Virgil in 2005.

Word is from Virgil's Mom is that in 2006 its the Drums for Virgil.

The Mother Truckers are back in the Bay Area at the end of May and early June check out their new website.
