I was driving a cab a couple of nights ago when I was sent up to
pick up some people at The Marin Center Auditorium (same place where
Peter Frampton' recorded his famous live album - they had a reunion
lately sorry I missed it))
Big crowd pouring out turns out they had just finished
listening to an Icelandic Band called 'Sigur Ros' (trans/ Victory
Rose) Two couples decided to split the price of a cab ride back into
SF it was fun listening to their conversation. Skyhigh.. they were
in some exalted state It was very reminiscent of my days coming out
of some Dead show during the 70's...though there wasn't too much
evidence of substance enjoyment.
Something about hearing a language where you did not know a
single word but loved every single word. 'Hopelandic?'
I will have to give the band a good listening they have some
very intelligent very devoted fans.
I just listened. Here is the link. Play
this clip! God help you Wow!
