That
was a great day of fun and music in San Anselmo. That
was a fine party to be a part of. We had the street closed
there was a Parade, there were booths along the street, kids
having fun everywhere and great music up and down the street
it all went very well.
Talk about community pride I think we were feeling it
yesterday under mostly grey and threatening skies the
Volunteers of San Anselmo pulled off a very fine event.
Here is the first of a few video clips coming up here.
The
Drake High Jazz Band playing on the Town Hall Steps.

This High School Jazz Band just Kicks Ass as they
say. Think of this.. it's October this years band has been
playing for maybe one month. One month Wow! Well yes I bet a
bunch of these kids were in this band last year too and maybe
you recognized their great drummers Nate Wong whose Mind
Jazz Quartet played at last year's Music in the Park
Series and Sean Higgins who you may remember from last year's
awesome performance with Soul
Pie.. So anyways if you were to align this double drummer
combination with this very talented Bass man Spencer Andrews
then you have a very strong rhythm section along with a
bunch of other great and talented players such as Jordan
Burdick on trombone and many more.

If they sound good now how much better by April
2007? Chip Boaz is the musical director and he deserves a
major... Wow! of appreciation ... for his fine work and
dedication and education of and for and to the students of Sir
Francis Drake High School.
Cryptic Message 2: (and final one, forgive me everybody
-- always get a phone number.. I know.) Didn't mean to signal
you out Red thought you might be the bold one, the offer
stands (always), the mountain stands, Sitting Bull awaits,
take it to the High Place always.
