Guitarist and songwriter with the Tubes, leader of the Folk-ups the acoustic quartet, trio or duo depending on the situation, close friend of Vince Welnick going back to their days in Arizona. Did a stint with Vikki Lee as a Pinecone. Longtime teacher at the Blue Bear School of Music. Father of recording artist Boone Spooner.
