The generation that launched this music is graying and wrinkling and frankly isn't going to be around here one of these days, pass on as they say. Yes all of us do on this Planet of Life yes even you young ones someday. This is Life too. It's a passing through kind of event.

Chuck Day is still with us, working through his rehabilitation. Major stroke, tracheotomy, almost 4 months. 'Big Thumbs Up' he signed.. To singing and playing onstage again. His song isn't over.

David Vega may not sing or play again on this Earth.
He has been in a coma for a few months. Brian Fischer
is keeping in touch with David's girlfriend. Very difficult situation let's listen to one of my most favorite electric guitarist's on the Planet. I am not sure of his biography, I do know that he played with the renowned Funk Band. Graham Central Station. It's founder as you may know was Larry Graham, who prior to GCS, played Bass in Sly and The Family Stone. He also is popularly attributed to inventing the 'slap-bass' style. David 'Dynamite' Vega played with some great guys over the years. I first met when he was playing with JJ Malone. Later he played in short-lived band known as Bad Blood, I don't think they got in more than a couple of gigs before that great experiment of Oakland Soul and Blues Rock came to an end. The band got it's name from the fact that all the members were battling some stuff that made them feel... Bad.

   Parkinson's, Diabetes, Cancer.

Man oh Man Aarggghh! Keep the music playing.. Loved David's passionate and Fiery playing.  My last sighting was a particularly thrilling one, when Lil Denny had one of his mystery shows at Peri's and Dave Vega and Danny Uzilevsky plugged in and hurled thunderbolts back and forth across the stage in an amazing display of great Blues Rocking.

David was a humble and friendly guy. The world never found out that he was one of the great rock guitarists of his time. An excellent blues vocalist.  On stage he was fiery bold, A true Rock Giant.

if you are a regular let's review. If you are new here enjoy this.
